Fort Thomas is a city in Campbell County, Kentucky named in honor of Civil War General George Henry Thomas. The area is known for historic battles and military landmarks or artifacts, and was settled by Europeans in 1867. By 1890, Fort Thomas was established and finally incorporated 24 years later in 1914. Today, as a suburb of Cincinnati, Fort Thomas is considered one of the best places to live in Kentucky. Their public schools are highly rated and there are lots of bars, restaurants and parks for families to enjoy.
