Maineville, Ohio, also called the Village of Maineville, is located in Warren County, Ohio. The Village was founded in 1815 and incorporated as a village in 1850. Most settlers of Maineville came from Phillips, Maine – their travels and relocation took approximately 30 to 60 days. Before it’s incorporation, Maineville went by “Yankeetown” in addition to “Maineville.” Maineville is less than 2 square miles and is home to about 1,000 people.

Hamilton-Maineville Primary School is an elementary school located in Maineville, OH. It is a part of the Little Miami School District, which serves the entire Village of Maineville.
Hamilton Township provides all police and fire services to the Village of Maineville. It wasn’t until 1954 that residents within Maineville and Hamilton Township organized the Maineville Community Volunteer Fire Company, and the fire company served residents until 1994 when the Hamilton Township Division of Fire and Emergency Services was Formed.
The US Postal Service has an office just outside the border of the Village of Mainville.
