Prior to its founding in 1927, Park Hills, KY was mostly uninhabited. The only landmark was the Stonewall House, renamed the Hotel Hahn in the 1930s, a restaurant and tavern built in the mid 1800s which served as a break for farmers travelling on the turnpike between Covington and Cincinnati. After its incorporation, Park Hills had a commercial boom which eventually created a trolley line connecting to Covington, Cincinnati and other Kenton County areas. Trolley Park is named in honor of that line, which was retired in the 1950s.

The Gardens of Park Hills – The Gardens of Park Hills is a banquet hall owned by McHale’s Events and Catering and features two grand ballrooms, wedding planning, event set-up and break-down, and more in a convenient downtown location.

Devou Park Golf Course – The Devou Golf and Event Center originally opened in 1922 and currently sits on the border of Park Hills. Devou Golf offers a 6,091-yard full course with plush zoysia fairways, and the Devou Event center is a great spot for weddings, formal dinners, and corporate meetings.
