South Lebanon is located in central Warren County within Union, Deerfield, and Hamilton Townships and has a population of approximately 4,115 people. South Lebanon is referred to as a village, and was originally called “Deerfield” when it was first settled in 1795 because it was the “chief settlement” of Deerfield Township. It was later renamed due to its proximity to Lebanon.

South Lebanon Historical Society – The South Lebanon Historical Society’s tagline is “Reclaiming Our Past, Embracing Our Future,” – representing their goal and intention to preserve the history of each generation with texts, artifacts, personal journals and interviews. Their website is a place to document historical items and make it available to the general public. Since January 1st, 2012, the South Lebanon Historical Society has been collecting and adding new articles to the site every month.

Carter Park – Carter Park is an 85 acre park with walking and cycling trails throughout the site. Locals to the park enjoy storywalks, the on-site archery range, and community garden as well. The park is located just outside of village lines in Deerfield Township.

Humane Asssociation of Warren County– Serving Warren County for over 46 Years, the Humane Association of Warren County is a non-profit animal shelter and adoption center that has provided a safe haven for thousands of homeless dogs and cats.
